2009 gigs to appear here shortly...
Previous Gigs
Islington Academy - Tuesday 16th December 2008, 9.00pm
A rip roaring set from The Faults (even though they didn't get a chance to sound check) in front of a great crowd was the perfect way to end the year.
The songs went down well, particularly the newer tracks, which are a sign of the great things to come. Many many thanks to the legends in the crowd who enjoyed the show and to Jar music for having us...look out for more collaboration with them very soon...
Water Rats Theatre - Wednesday 19th November 2008, 7pm
Even in these tight times and with an England game on as well (ok maybe not that big a deal) the fans turned out yet again to cheer on The Faults at the Water Rats theatre as they continue to put themselves in the 'shop window' - this time playing with 'Gary Go' an established touring artist (The Feeling, Amy McDonald amongst others), headlining the bill and The Faults delivering a strong performance yet again. There was a lot of praise for the newer material and there is definitely more to come in the next few months. Much love to everyone who turned out - without you we are nothing so cheers.
Purple Turtle - Saturday 25th October 2008, 9pm
In spite of some administrative issues before the gig where The Faults weren't even sure if they would be allowed on stage, in true style, the show went on and the set was received rapturously by both regular Faults fans and new ones alike.
Big shout out to the other bands on the night who not only lent us their equipment but were bloody good as well! The Goldilocks Effect, Cypher and Mad Dog helped to create a great atmosphere and a great night was had by all.
Monto Water Rats - Friday September 26th 2008
It was billed as the best gig The Faults had played to date and the general consensus was just that. A late start coupled with a raucous and energetic crowd made for a great atmosphere and the energy of the crowd rubbed off on the band as they rocked the legendary venue.
The standard has been set for future gigs from both the fans and the band alike and plans are being made for the next set of gigs as we speak. More news to follow soon...
Carling Academy - Wednesday 13th August 2008
After a while without performing on stage, The Faults made their first appearance since recording their second demo with a triumphant return to the live set in front of a large and appreciative crowd. Although on first, The Faults managed to build up a strong atmosphere in the intimate Bar Academy and newly recorded tracks ‘Mr Nice’ and ‘Otherways’ got the biggest reaction of the evening. There was also time for a cheeky version of ‘Deeper Underground’ which went down a storm. The Faults were in great company with Arcadian headlining the show.
Next up for The Faults is a huge gig at the Monto Water Rats theatre in September which is already being touted as their biggest gig to date so don’t miss out!
Metro 23/02/2008
Dublin Castle 15/02/2008
Coming into this gig, Jadet were riding high on the crest of their previous show, and were looking forward to playing such a legendary venue. Despite of their standard guitar breakage in sound check, all was ok for the set itself. Having said that, Tommy’s belt did decide to have a mind of its own and kept falling down – which as a disclaimer to his girlfriend had nothing to do with the fit blonde girl watching at the back!
A massive thanks to all who turned up and enjoyed the music with us, and as always, you its appreciated. Playing a gig like that has given Jadet massive confidence to continue on through 2008 and we are all hoping that the great start to the year is a sign of things to come.
Big thanks to the other acts, The Hoi Polloi, New Town Centres and The Com Com Commas on the night who all sounded good and helped to create a great night.
See you all at the metro next week….
Comedy Pub 30/01/2008
You can’t say The Faults don’t keep their promises, a blinding start to the New Year was promised and from where I’m standing, a blinding start to the New Year was defiantly delivered! Boasting aside it was a top Wednesday night out and Jadet’s first time in big letters on the top half of a flyer (anyone see the gig listing in the London Lite?).
Sharing the big letters were Kids Love Lies who were playing their first gig together but it certainly didn’t show, top performance guys. On just before us were The Royals who have been in the game a little longer and delivered some dam good tunes. They have defiantly have something about them, look out for them at the forthcoming Rocket Unsigned night down in Euston where we are hoping to have them on the bill for the first show!! The Inside also played and although were just 2 fellas doing their thing they defiantly made enough noise for everyone, great stuff!
Jadet played a bit of a classic set for the new fans and old faithful alike but look out for some new tunes at our forthcoming gigs which we are just putting finishing touches on!
See you all there ;)
Oh yeah one more thing… Thanks Brad! Don’t think I need to say any more, top stuff!
